Lancaster General Health provides a total rewards package that helps retain and motivate experienced employees while attracting and hiring new, highly skilled and talented employees. Health & welfare benefits

Choice of traditional PPO provider or high deductible health program with corresponding Health Savings Accounts. Both programs provide in-patient, out-patient, behavioral health and prescription drug coverage.
Coverage is available for preventive, simple restorative, major restorative, and orthodontia dental procedures.
Coverage is available for vision exams, frame(s), lenses and contacts.
This program allows employees to use pre-tax dollars deducted from their pay to help cover eligible out-of-pocket health/dental/vision expenses and dependent care costs.
Lancaster General Health provides eligible employees with life insurance coverage at no cost.
Lancaster General Health will contribute 2% of all eligible compensation into a Retirement Income Account.

In addition, all employees are enrolled in the Retirement Income Account at a 6% pre-tax contribution rate which LG Health will match 50%.

Employees are vested in employer contributions after the completion of three calendar years of 1,000 or more hours. Annual IRS Plan limits apply to employee contributions.
The Paid Time Bank provides compensation for holidays, personal, short-term or intermittent illness absences, and vacation time.
Lancaster General Health employees accrue STD hours each pay period.
Lancaster General Health provides employees with LTD for absences greater than 90 consecutive days, due to a disabling illness – at no cost.

Work–Life Benefits

This program provides confidential counseling services for you and your family members.
This fund provides financial support for employees facing a wide range of temporary circumstances that cause or create personal or family hardships.
Employees are given discounts on prescription drugs, as well as over-the-counter items, through the LG Health Convenience and Lifecare pharmacies.
Employees have the option to purchase additional disability income insurance. This benefit helps to safeguard income in the event of a prolonged illness or injury.
Employees may purchase optional life insurance for themselves and their dependents at low group insurance rates.
Free parking, discounted meals at cafeterias, subsidized child care facility, on-site fitness center, free immunizations and health screenings, Home in the City Program, credit counseling services, and auto/home insurance discounts.
Offers additional services such as dry cleaning, internet accessibility, facsimile and copy machines. Employees may also purchase discounted transit, movie, special show, and amusement park tickets, as well as access to additional coupon offers.
Fulltime employees buying a home for their primary residence within an established area, or currently own and reside in a home in the established area, may be eligible to participate in all, or some of the following Home in the City programs: mortgage insurance, settlement assistance, and curb appeal assistance.
