Summary

There are full-time and part-time (20 hours per week) temporary positions available; located at either Lancaster General Hospital or the Suburban Outpatient Pavilion.  All shifts available. Weekend rotation required.  Those selected will be considered for other opportunities within Lancaster General Health after end of temporary assignment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position requires employees to use Thermal Scanners to obtain a temperature reading of individuals entering Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Facilities. Employee will check the temperature reading and advise individual in accordance with specific process identified in Thermal Screening Workflow.  
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Process temperature screening for individuals entering LG Health facilities.
  • Ask required screening questions to determine if individual is safe to enter.
  • Follow documented Thermal Screening Workflow to determine next steps required.
  • Report out on number of individuals screened, including number of positive individuals.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
