Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Medical Oncology Team.  At the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, we've brought together the area's leading oncology experts, advanced technology, and an array of services to guide and support patients through the continuum of care - all under one roof in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility.  The facility features 31 infusion chairs, 53 exam rooms, a care team of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplains, financial and genetic counselors, as well as the nation's first CyberKnife M6.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Physician Assistant:

  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
  • Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
  • Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.
  • Minimum one year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred. 
  • A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program.

 

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure
  • Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty is required.
  • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania.
  • Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.
  • 2 years previous experience in a Nurse Practitioner role is preferred.

  • A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program.
