Location: Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA
Hours: 1st/2nd Shift Mixed hours, Part-Time and Full-Time openings, 10 hour shifts, Mon-Fri, every other weekend/holiday
Need to be available between 5:30 am - 5:45pm (rotating schedule)

As part of the food service team, our patient care hosts and hostess play a key part in the patient experience through learning about diets and dietary restrictions to help patients make safe and healthy food choices. Patient care host and hostess positions offer sign on bonuses up to $500. Eligibility rules apply. In addition, full benefits, paid time off, retirement, free parking and childcare discounts are available.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with meal selections and assure guidelines are met for modified diets
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to patients, including in-between meal feedings and nutritional supplements
- Partner with the dietician and nursing staff to monitor and record patient intake
- All other duties as assigned in accordance with the job description

What We Require for this Role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year of experience working directly with customers or patients
- Six (6) months experience working with computers or computerized equipment
