Job Description
LG Health Physicians Healthy Weight Management Is seeking a full-time outpatient only Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their well-established 4 physician, 1 CRNP practice. Our providers work together along with our registered dietitians and exercise physiologists to provide a full, comprehensive multidisciplinary weight management program for both bariatric surgery patients and medical weight management patients. We emphasize the balance of nutrition, exercise, and well-being and meet patients where they are in order to provide individualized guidance base upon their conditions, comorbidities, lifestyles and own personal goals. Our facility has a fully equipped gym used to train patients and provide guidance on appropriate use of equipment and exercise regimens. The role of this APP would be to see new patients and provide regular follow up care, treating their obesity and concurrent comorbid conditions through lifestyle changes and medication management when applicable, as well as work closely with the multidisciplinary team by attending regular team case review meetings.
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday with hours primarily 8:00am-5:00pm. No evenings or weekends.
REQUIREMENTS:
Nurse Practitioner:
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania.
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure
- Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty is required.
- Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred.
Physician Assistant:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
- Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
- Physician Assistant experience is preferred.
