HOURS:  Fulltime, Varied shifts/ occasional holidays, weekends required.

 

The Heart Group of Lancaster General Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our 22 Advanced Practice Provider and our 28 Physician Cardiology Group in Lancaster, PA. The Heart Group is a dynamic, growing practice of clinicians committed to providing world-class patient care while contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular science. The practice has been recognized nationally and internationally for excellence in providing leading-edge treatments, contributing to clinical innovations and improving patient outcomes.

The Heart Group engages in research and conducts clinical trials that offer local residents access to medical advances long before they become available to the general public. We are one of just a few practices in the nation to offer lipid apheresis treatments outside of the hospital setting. In addition, our congestive heart failure clinic manages more than 10,000 patient visits annually.

Services are provided at Lancaster General Hospital, a 623-bed Magnet hospital. With more than 4,500 diagnostic and 1,200 interventional procedures annually, Lancaster General Health is the leader in providing full spectrum cardiac services to the more than one-half million residents of Lancaster County and the surrounding area.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse

Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.

Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania is required.

Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.

2 years previous experience in a Nurse Practitioner role is preferred.

A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program
