This position is located at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster County.
HOURS: Fulltime, Dayshift with occasional evening and/or night shifts. Weekend shift work approximate 2 shifts every 12 weeks. This can vary based on business needs. 1 or 2 holiday shifts per year.
The Heart Group of Lancaster General Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our 22 Advanced Practice Provider and our 28 Physician Cardiology Group in Lancaster, PA. In addition, our congestive heart failure clinic manages more than 10,000 patient visits annually.
Services are provided at Lancaster General Hospital, a 623-bed Magnet hospital. - Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania is required.
- Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.
- 2 years previous experience in a Nurse Practitioner role is preferred.
- A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program
