Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: To lead the delivery of clinical wellness services at various employer partner sites and provide operational and technical support to the corpate wellness clinical team.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Serves as the subject matter expert and resource for all clinical staff, leading onboarding, orientation and annual competencies.  
  • Functions as the liaison for corporate clients, participants, event staff and client managers to assure the delivery of high quality services and exceptional experience.
  • Assists manager and medical director in reviewing and revising the department’s clinical policies and procedures and educates/trains staff to ensure compliance with expected protocol. 
  • Communicates with client manager and onsite staff, prior to and after events, and regularly attends onsite events as a facilitator, team lead and preceptor to support and trouble shoot with onsite staff as needed
  • Advocates for PRN corporate team members by actively sharing ideas with the internal team, participating in performance improvement initiatives and leading effective 2-way communication.
  • Leads the development and delivery of a monthly newsletter to the PRN Team.
  • Provides input into performance evaluations for clinical staff as requested by practice management.
  • Conduct health screenings, including biometric measurements, fingerstick and venipuncture blood draws and educate client on screening results.
  • Prepare and administer vaccinations, such as influenza, in a safe manner in accordance with department protocol, regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
  • Educates participants about preventive care, chronic disease management, acute diagnosis, medications and other areas pertinent to provided services. 
  • Responds to participant inquiries, providing clinical advice, navigations support, and referrals as needed.  Escalates and addresses any medical concerns to the medical director.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:

  • Participates in on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Assists in coordination of referrals, education and community resources.
  • Outreach telephonically to clients with high risk values to promote education with care coordination.
  • Provide individual and group health education programs to various employee populations.
  • Represent LG Health at events and promote messages.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current licensure as an RN, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing
  • Five (5) years of relevant nursing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the abilitiy to interact professionally with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrates the ability to make independent decisions that drive program success.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience supervising teams.
  • Experience/knowledge in health, wellness and prevention.
