About the Life Support program
An accredited American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, our Life Support program offers high-quality, innovative education by experienced health care professionals. The program’s life support courses are designed for health care providers, businesses, organizations, non-profits and schools, as well as individual learners.

Position Summary

Adjunct faculty facilitate life support education courses and perform instructional services held on campus or off-site (as needed), collaborating with the Life Support Education team to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance. These position(s) are per diem.

Position Requirements (BLS)

  • Certification as a BLS Instructor (preferred), will consider strongly qualified candidates who are willing to become certified instructors.
  • Prior experience facilitating related courses (preferred);
  • Two years’ experience in a clinical setting (preferred); and,
  • Familiarity with American Heart Association (AHA) products and services (preferred).

Position Requirements (ACLS)

  • Certification as an ACLS or PALS Instructor (certification with both preferred), will consider strongly qualified candidates who are willing to learn how to teach,
  • Prior experience facilitating related courses,
  • Two years’ experience in a clinical setting; and,
  • Familiarity with American Heart Association (AHA) products and services (preferred).
