About the Life Support Program
An accredited American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center, our Life Support program offers high-quality, innovative education provided by experienced health care professionals. The program’s life support courses are designed for health care providers, businesses, organizations, non-profits and schools, as well as individual learners.
Position Summary
Adjunct faculty facilitate life support education courses and perform instructional services held on campus or off-site (as needed), collaborating with the Life Support Education team to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance. This is a per diem position.
Position Requirements (Advanced Life Support)
- Certification as an ACLS or PALS Instructor (certification with both preferred); will consider strongly qualified candidates who are willing to learn how to teach;
- Prior experience facilitating related courses (preferred);
- Two years experience in a clinical setting (recommended); and,
- Familiarity with American Heart Association (AHA) products and services (preferred).
Position Requirements (Basic Life Support)
- Certification as a BLS Instructor (preferred); will consider strongly qualified candidates who are willing to become certified instructors;
- Prior experience facilitating related courses (preferred);
- Two years experience in a clinical setting (recommended); and,
- Familiarity with American Heart Association (AHA) products and services (preferred).
